According the Babycenter, here is what happening during my 32nd /33rd week of pregnancy:

Week 32:

By now, your baby weighs 3 3/4 pounds (about the size of a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You’re gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, she’ll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb. She now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth.

Week 33:

This week your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds and has passed the 17-inch mark (about the size of a pineapple). She’s rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and her skeleton is hardening. The bones in her skull aren’t fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for her to fit through the birth canal. (The pressure on the head during birth is so intense that many babies are born with a conehead-like appearance.) These bones don’t entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as her brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood.

How am I feeling?

THE FINAL COUNTDOWN

1. I’m feeling good. These past weeks have been great! I’ve really enjoyed the pregnancy so far, with little to no complications. I have been sleeping a whole lot more. But overall, I’m feeling good and anxiously awaiting my daughter!

2. She’s dropped! Yup. Plenty of friends and co-workers have mention to me that she has dropped and indeed I feel it….BIG TIME! She is currently in a breeched position so all the kicking she does goes straight to my bladder…yeah not cool.

3. Belly has been extending out. I get lots of questions of when I’m due. When I say next month (May) everyone’s eyes just enlarge. At first I would get mad, but now I think its the funniest thing ever! You should see everyone’s eyes! Hilarious.

4. OB Update: Our little girl is growing good and doing well. I did try to get a 3D sono but she is turn inward so we could not see her face. I really want to see who she looks like but I guess it will just be a surprise.

BABY SHOWER!

This past weekend, my parents (mom) hosted a baby shower for me. The theme was Dr. Seuss and it came out fantastic!!

Dr. Seuss is the theme I wore a Thing 2 shirt.

My mom had this idea to do a pink candy bar. It came out super cute, plus it was delicious.

For me, the cutest part was the cake! A new fish!

A BIG THANK YOU to my parents who hosted and put the baby shower all together. We were blessed with so many gifts that I am thankful for.

Now we are ready. Just a few more weeks till she arrives.
