According the Babycenter, here is what happening during my 16th week of pregnancy:

Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double her weight and add inches to her length. Right now, she’s about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. Her legs are much more developed, her head is more erect than it has been, and her eyes have moved closer to the front of her head. Her ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of her scalp has begun, though her locks aren’t recognizable yet. She’s even started growing toenails. And there’s a lot happening inside as well. For example, her heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop.

How am I feeling?

1. Still feeling that extreme exhaustion. I practically take naps everyday now.

2. No morning sickness at all and no more vertigo. Right now all dizziness has subsided. I’m in the second trimester now and feeling great!

Tests:

So I underwent a battery of test including the Harmony test. Which revealed that all genetic chromosomes are good! And it also revealed that I’m having a GIRL!!!!

YES! Hubby and I are extremely excited and so happy to be having a little princess. I think it will be a joy to have a little girl.

Cravings:

I’m pretty much craving all the same. Lots of meat and fruit. So far, I’m enjoying this part of pregnancy very much.

That it folks. Looking forward to my next update!

Congratulations! I had my son 2 1/2 years ago and the first trimester was a nightmare for me. Couldn’t keep anything down. Then when the morning sickness settled all I craved was cake, I don’t even like cake. It was a painful Man-dying-of -thirst craving for cake.

Sounds like everything is going and growing great for you. 🙂
