Here I am at 26 weeks pregnant:

According the Babycenter, here is what happening during my 26th week of pregnancy:

The network of nerves in your baby’s ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. She may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner’s as you chat with each other. She’s inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of her lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when she’s born and takes that first gulp of air.

And she’s continuing to put on baby fat. She now weighs about 1 2/3 pounds and measures 14 inches (about the size of a scallion) from head to heel.

How am I feeling?

1. HUGE! I practically grew overnight and sleep is not good. I’m constantly tossing and turning and I can never get comfortable. Not to mention, I have to get up at least once in the middle of the night for a potty break.

2. My back. My back hurts badly. The other day I did some cleaning and I had to sit cause I was in so much pain. I did however, get myself a pregnancy belt and that has help with the pain.

3. Nursery: It’s finally complete! I’m very happy with it. We got some cute owl paintings as well as decals for the wall. It’s all pink and girly. I totally love it!!

4. Baby Shower: YES! We have set the date for the baby shower and I’m working on getting details for that. I’ve decided to have it sometime in April, since most likely I will be due in May.

5. Crunch time! I’m in my last and final trimester, my nesting instinct has kicked in hard. I have several things on my do to list that I want to get done and hoping to get the big stuff done before I hit 30 weeks.

6. Hospital Bag/Diaper bag: Since I will be having a repeat c-section, I sort of already know what I want/know to bring. I already begun packing the bag. So far, all I got are travel items, pjs, etc. Diaper Bag, I have yet to pack. I have only one take home outfit but I like to bring several just in case I want to put her in something else.

Cravings:

My cravings has pretty much stayed the same. Love fruit, meat and spicy stuff.  And I haven’t had any really bad pregnancy symptoms (heartburn, morning sickness, etc) So I don’t want to jinx my luck but I’m grateful that everything has been okay.

On another note: I have not update the blog with a review because my UBB plugin is missing. I’ve been going out of my mind trying to fix it and am still in the process of getting it fixed. So please, be patient. Hopefully we will get it done soon cause my reviews are piling up.

That’s it folks! The weeks are flying by. D-day is al most here. I can’t believe how fast it is all going.
