It’s not that this cover is horrible, it’s just… plain. So when the lovely author Cyndi Tefft emailed me asking to review the book, I was so close to turning it down. The cover just wasn’t appealing. Still, the synopsis is what pulled me in. I responded to her, said I would read it. When she sent me the book, I open it reading the first chapter just to gather the gist of the story. Let’s just say, I ended up staying up late finishing it. And I thank my lucky stars that I accepted the book and LOVED it.
This is a type of cover that I am not a huge of fan. I’m never been a fan of covers that are similar to this one. It’s sort of plain, if you know what I mean! My FF
I guess I’m going to have to check this book out then! This is actually the first I’ve heard of it. I really like the blue on the cover, but yes, it’s plain.
Yeah this is not a cover that would catch my eye, but I’m glad you liked it.
This cover is VERY plain – I think I’d be hesitant too! It makes me wonder sometimes what publishers are thinking!
