“When Wendy Everly first discovers the truth about herself—that she’s a changeling switched at birth—she knows her life will never be the same. Now she’s about to learn that there’s more to the story…
She shares a closer connection to her Vittra rivals than she ever imagined—and they’ll stop at nothing to lure her to their side. With the threat of war looming, her only hope of saving the Trylle is to master her magical powers—and marry an equally powerful royal. But that means walking away from Finn, her handsome bodyguard who’s strictly off limits…and Loki, a Vittra prince with whom she shares a growing attraction.
Torn between her heart and her people, between love and duty, Wendy must decide her fate. If she makes the wrong choice, she could lose everything, and everybody, she’s ever wanted…in both worlds.”
This is the second book in the Trylle series. I was super happy to having receive this book for review since I really fell in love with the first book. This book picks up where it left off back in world fighting for power. Wendy is on a mission to find out what is causing all of the tension. I really like that in this book Wendy doesn’t let up on anything. She gets stronger and much more feistier.
There are other characters in the book that I really loved getting to know better, even ones that I didn’t like. I really loved reading all of the back story on the characters. It creates a better basis so I feel more connected to the characters as I read the book.
The love interest in the book is still straining for me! I wanted more between the two and I can only hope that I will be able to read a happy ending. I do love that the love interest is now more open in their feelings rather than squashing them away. My heart always soared when they look at each other!!
I really love how the plot line is coming together in the book. You can definitely tell by the end of the book that so much is going to do down in the last book. More secrets and plans are exposed and I can’t wait to see how the author wraps up the series.
Torn is a collide of win, action and romance! Fascinating and moving, Torn is a great read!
I give it 4 BITES!
Happy Reading!

I still have to read the first book. So, I’m curious. I’m glad you enjoyed this one as well. I think I’ll have to pick it up to go with that first book!
I really need to get to this book. I liked the first one. It’s a little silly, but engrossing. Hopefully soon.
I still have to read Switched, I’ll get to it LOL lovely review though =)
