I am usually really good at picking out books that I know I will like. So when I found myself having a hard time getting into this book I was upset. I really want to like it but I found that I just could not.

The plot for one moved to slow for me and it was a bit confusing. As soon as you started the book, you were thrown into the story with hardly no back round on the legends on the Dragons. You learn secrets but all of it was cryptic. I had a hard time relating to Jason the character whom we follow in the book. Jason is younger and is pretty much kept in the dark about things.

Even now I have a hard time writing this review because I really wanted to like it. But in the end this book is just not for me.

I give it 3 BITES!

    Sorry the book wasn’t for you. I haven’t heard of this one before. I’ve read quite a few slow moving books lately, and now I need something fast paced and fun!!

    I’ve never even heard of this book before, but I’m kind of a fan of dragons so I was hoping when I saw the cover you would have given it your stamp of approval! I definitely don’t like being confused or feeling like I was dropped into the middle of a series without knowing it, so I’ll pass on this one! Thanks Savy:)

    When a book provides only ambiguous descriptions I get to feeling frustrated too. (Sorry for your displeasure – I hate being disappointed with a book.)

    I read this book too, and sadly I couldn’t connect with the story either. IMHO it could have used a real good polish (editing).
