“Your strength in heart and hand will fall. . . .
Ellie knows that the darkest moments are still to come, and she has everything to fight for:
She must fight for Will.
The demonic have resorted to their cruelest weapons to put Will in mortal danger, and Ellie makes an unlikely alliance to save him and to stop Lilith and Sammael, who seek to drown the world in blood and tear a hole into Heaven.
She must fight for humanity.
As the armies of Hell rise and gather for the looming End of Days, Ellie and her band of allies travel to the world’s darkest and most ancient regions in her quest to come into her full glory as the archangel Gabriel.
And Ellie must save herself.
Her humanity withers beneath the weight of her cold archangel power, but Ellie must hold tight to who she is and who she loves as she prepares for the ultimate battle for Heaven and Earth.
In this final installment in the Angelfire trilogy, Courtney Allison Moulton brings her dark world of epic battles and blistering romance to a blazing bright conclusion.”
So sad to see this series end, I’m delighted that I had a chance to read it.
Right when you began the story, you dive into the plot, into Ellie shoes. She is fighting with her every last breathe to save Will. I love Ellie’s loyalty. No matter what came in front of her she NEVER gave up. Her love for Will empower her, giving her strength to keep going. Every single plot twist, set Ellie far away yet so close to Will.
The love interest of course is very fierce and enduring. Her love for Will and his love for her is so far beyond romance. It’s real and true, never-wavering feeling that they have for one another. I loved watching these two stand against everyone who questions their love for each other. They knew exactly what to say at the right moment, leaving the characters speechless and well, quite jealous.
I don’t want to go to far into detail, but know that the ending is so AMAZING! My heart literally raced as my eyes scan the pages searching for any sign of hope that author can give me. Once I reached the final conclusion, I smiled broadly.
Shadows In The Silence is a story that you will not forget. Heart-pounding and thought-provoking, Ellie’s strength slashes through the pages of the book. All emotions are off the chart and all you can do is hold your breathe waiting for the final moments. Shadows In The Silence rocks!
I give it 5 BITES!
Happy Reading!
Oh my gosh I picked up Angelfire such a long time ago but never opened it. This review really reminded me of the series and how I HAVE to read it soon! Is this the last one?

I’ve been putting off reading this one because I just really don’t want it to end! Everyone seems to love the ending, so I know I shouldn’t worry about it, and should just read it already, but then it will really be over…sigh. I don’t think I can wait any longer though, especially after reading so many great reviews like this one. 🙂
Ooo, 5 stars for a series finale! Awesome. 🙂 I have only read the first book but lately I’ve been so disappointed by the final books in some series. It’s good to hear this one doesn’t let you down.

I really need to read this series. It seems like a series most people really love. I am not big on angel books so it never really grabbed my attention, but the more great reviews I see for the series, the more interested I get.
Oh sweet! Now that I know all the books are out, that means I can read them all at once. I enjoy doing that and this sounds like it rocks!
I had Angelfire picked out and I didn’t get a chance to read it :0( It is a huge book but reading this review I see that it sounds so amazing. I need to start it soon ;D
I loved the first two books but I need a refresher! I definitely want to read this when I have a chance!
I didn’t love the first book so I didn’t continue the series but I have heard that they just get better and better so I’m thinking I really need to continue it. I’m glad you loved it so much!
