“One last chance…
For Max, Fang, Angel, Iggy, Nudge, and Gazzy.
Before it all ends.
Are you ready for the final chapter? Are you ready for the ultimate flight? Because THIS IS IT. One last incredible, explosive adventure with an astonishing ending that no one could have seen coming.”
I yelled, I screamed, I cried, I wanted to throw the book (not literally), I was just an emotional wreck. I have waited patiently for this book and when I got it, i didn’t want to read it. I didn’t want to say goodbye to a world that I fell in love with from the beginning. I didn’t want to say goodbye to the characters that I am sure I wasn’t the only one to fall in love with. I just didn’t want to say…Good Bye!
I was so glad to have one more adventure with the characters that I started crying right from the first page. I was ready to say bye to some but not all. However, James Patterson doesn’t give me the chance to say bye when he just….sorry you have to read to find out.
The romance in here was the part I wanted to scream at the most. I wanted to yell at Max and call her names for what she was doing but I had to sit back and read what she did. In the end, I had a bittersweet feeling of how it all turned out. It was good but I had my doubts.
The surprises that this book and author has in store for the reader is the one thing that will make this book so much more exciting. I knew I gasped whenever secrets were revealed telling you something of a character that you didn’t know.
The ending for me was alright. I wish it could have ended differently, however, the events that led up to it was so intense that I wish there was more.
This book and series is a must read for all readers. I fell in love with the series and I know you will too. James Patterson will take you on a Maximum Ride.
I give it 5 BITES!

Thanks Chayse for doing this guest review!
Happy Reading!
I’ve been very curious about this series for SO LONG!! And it’s like book 8 O_O I really have to try it out sometimes. Great review!
This book looks awesome! You have an amazing site. Congrats on being a Feature Follow this week! <3 I didn't see the link, but I am a new follower. I would love a follow back. <3

I enjoy this series but kind of gave up a few books ago. I do want to know how it ends though so I’ll probably have a reading marathon and catch up all at once.
I’ve not read any of the Maximum Ride books. I don’t know why, by James Patterson annoys me. He has so many books out, it feels like at least one book a month. But most of the time they are written with someone else (with his name prominantly on the cover). It feels sort of like he is just in it for the money. Does that make sense?
But I know the kids at the library where I work love this series.
I read the beginning of your review, but didn’t want to finish because I didn’t want there to be any spoilers. I’ve been reading this series since I was 12, and I DON’T WANT IT TO END. MY dad bought it for me the day it came out, but I haven’t read it yet, because I had a big project to do, and I don’t want it to end…but I’m glad I’m not the only person who will be crying when I start reading it. Or the only one who will throw it across the room. Because I’m sure I will…
Anyways, I cannot wait to read it!!
My brother is a huge fan of this series, and I keep meaning to borrow them from him.
New follower 🙂
Uh oh, I haven’t read any books in this series but the way you describe the romance in this last book has me super nervous! It sounds like she does some things I might not like…it’s never good when you want to start calling characters names:) Since there are 8 books out and I’ve read a whopping 0, I’ll probably steer clear of this series. I’m too lazy to read all 7 prior books to get caught up!
Congratulation on getting featured this week :).
My FF 🙂
I think you liked this one more than me, but I did enjoy it. I still had so many questions remaining and was frustrated that Max wasn’t asking them. Still a decent ending to the series.
Congrats on the FF!!! Old Follower Here
