“In a small college town in Northern California, Laney Alexander leads a regular, uneventful life–that is, until the charming and alluring Oliver Knight enters her world. Who is this gorgeous and mysterious stranger? Or, rather, what is he?

As Laney’s sophomore year of college begins, so does an unbelievable adventure–including a love she didn’t know she longed for. She soon learns that Oliver is not ordinary, nor is the rest of his family, including a sister who openly hates her and a brother who will stop at nothing for revenge. As she fights for her life, and Oliver’s love, Laney discovers that the fictional world of vampires isn’t so fictional after all. Nobody is safe, especially Laney, Oliver’s most important priority, and he will stop at nothing to protect her. With her mortality at risk, and a commitment revealed that she, without a doubt, knows she wants, Laney’s life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn…”
This best part about reading this book was how easy and fun it was to read. What an adventure! I loved the plot, drama, and characters. Oliver Knight is my new book crush!!!!

Laney meets Oilver during a class and fireworks exploded. Everywhere she turns he’s there.  He saved from a vampire attack and secrets are exposed. Ok the secrets, I must say Ms. Sowles had me all work up here. I heard who people really were and was just sucked in to finish the book right away. The mysterious part of it was great.

The relationship between Oliver and Laney was beautiful. Usually when I read book, I love romance and how it all comes together. Sometimes the author just throws everything in quickly making the couple fall in love super fast without no pretense. With Oliver and Laney it was different. They got to know each other, spend time with each other.  I was happy to get a great insight in there relationship. I also love the devotion that Oliver gives Laney. He is so loving, yet protective. Just like the kind of man I love. He loved her truly and show it immensely.

The vampire culture in this book was good. Like Bonding. Which I like. It was something different and not what you read about in many books. The are other aspects of this vampire culture different from whats out there. That is a plus.

Ms. Sowles did a great job writing this. I can’t wait to read her next book and see what else she has in store for us. Her debut of this book definitely had me hooked and wanting more!!!

I give it 5 BITES!

Happy Reading!

This one is new to me but it sounds right up my alley! I like that theirs is a slow building relationship instead of the instant attraction and “I can’t live without you” declaration of love. Nice review savy, I’ll be adding this one to my list!
