“What makes your heart race a little faster? Just in time for Valentine’s Day, it’s FALLEN IN LOVE, four wholly original new stories collected in a new novel set in the Middle Ages by Lauren Kate. FALLEN IN LOVE gives fans the much-talked about but never-revealed stories of FALLEN characters as they intertwine with the epic love story of Luce and Daniel. The stories include: Love Where You Least Expect It: The Valentine of Shelby and Miles , Love Lessons: The Valentine of Roland; Burning Love: The Valentine of Arriane; and Endless Love: The Valentine of Daniel and Lucinda.”
This book contain several short stories of love with in the world of the Fallen series. I admit that I didn’t like all of the stories. But there was one that stood out to me that I loved.
The stories in the book were:
Love Where You Least Expect It: The Valentine of Shelby and Miles , Love Lessons: The Valentine of Roland; Burning Love: The Valentine of Arriane; and Endless Love: The Valentine of Daniel and Lucinda.”
The one that I loved the most is The Valentine of Roland. His story is so heart aching beautiful! I fell in love with what he did. His selflessness to protect and love her even from afar. This story took my breathe away.
The other story was Endless Love. This is another story of Daniel and Luce just trying to be together again. I really like how all of the stories revolve around different characters in and out of Daniel and Luce’s life. Ms. Kate created a different setting with each character. To see them in another time, another place was really neat.
If you enjoy the Fallen series, you will enjoy this book! All the stories are great in detail and leave the reader even in more in love with Daniel, Luce and the other great characters in the Fallen series.

I give it 4 BITES!
Happy Reading!
I haven’t even started the Fallen series yet! I really must get round to picking it up soon! 😀
Though I am not big fan of the Fallen series, I like to concept and the idea. I wish that other authors would do the same for some of their series. Great read for Valentines I guess 🙂
Oh my! I sooooo loved Roland’s Story so much that I desperately wish for a spin off later on! Lauren Kate has just a way to create heartbreaking beautiful love stories *sigh*
I treated myself to this book, but I haven’t read Passion yet, so I’m guessing that I should read that one first, lol!
Sounds like a wonderful book, I love when the authors give us a bit more like this 🙂
Great review, I can’t wait to read it!
Ah, Valentines…better known as Singles Awareness Day.
I love short stories, and ones based on existing stories/books especially so. It feels like a little extra sneak peak into the lives of characters and worlds we fell in love with. I also love expanding my knowledge of those worlds and finding something new to fall in love with. Definitely going to check this one out.
Smiles!
Lori
Roland has a story? That’s so cool. I’ve been wanting to know more about him.
I’d love to see from Roland’s point! I haven’t read Passion yet but will get around to it!
