Nikki Beckett could only watch as her boyfriend, Jack, sacrificed himself to save her, taking her place in the Tunnels of the Everneath for eternity — a debt that should’ve been hers. She’s living a borrowed life, and she doesn’t know what to do with the guilt. And every night Jack appears in her dreams, lost and confused and wasting away.

Desperate for answers, Nikki turns to Cole, the immortal bad boy who wants to make her his queen — and the one person least likely to help. But his heart has been touched by everything about Nikki, and he agrees to assist her in the only way he can: by taking her to the Everneath himself.

Nikki and Cole descend into the Everneath, only to discover that their journey will be more difficult than they’d anticipated — and more deadly. But Nikki vows to stop at nothing to save Jack — even if it means making an incredible sacrifice of her own.

In this enthralling sequel to Everneath, Brodi Ashton tests the bonds of destiny and explores the lengths we’ll go to for the ones we love.

I have to be honest when I say that this is the sequel that I read the fastest. I jumped in and came out with my jaw hanging down. I was so amazed with how epic I found this book. For me to be able to explain my feelings for this book would possibly be the hardest thing and I hope I can.
Time passes from the first novel to when this one starts up again and Nikki is spending her time trying how to save the guy she loves. She will have to turn to the person who she would rather not go too, but he might be the only person to help her.
I feel Nikki has grown from the first novel and yes she makes her mistakes but there mistakes that she learns from. We are introduced to characters that will play an important role but Nikki must trust them cautiously.
The plot for this book was one that captured me and took me on a ride. We were able to see the world of the Everneath. During their time down there I felt bad for Cole, as he listens to stories of Nikki and her boyfriend Jack.  I felt that Cole was hearing stuff that he didn’t want to hear because of his own feelings towards Nikki.
Brodi Ashton once again captures me with a compelling cover and a mind blowing story that will leave you only wanting more. Action packed and topped off with some romance Everbound is one book not to miss out on!
I give it 5 bites!
Happy Reading!

CHAYSE!!! THIS BOOK!!! *dies* I loved it so much! It was really Cole’s book and I loved that we got to spend so much time with him because I didn’t feel like I got to know anything about him in the first book. By the end of this one, I felt like I had a better grasp of Cole, and oh man, is he a character with layers. I can’t wait for book 3!

I liked the first book okay, but I wasn’t terribly impressed for some reason. I didn’t quite ‘click’ with it, I guess. But I’m still a bit curious and since you loved this one I might give it a shot and see if I feel more of a connection. And just to see what happens next.
