"There was a time when I prayed for Rachel to be real. Until the night I learned she'd always planned to kill me.When Dani was eight, she fell from a building. No one believed her claim that she was pushed by Rachel . . . her imaginary friend. It took years of therapy to convince Dani that Rachel wasn't real. Now fifteen, Dani wants to make it as a dancer. But a deadly freak accident sends Dani a terrifying message: Rachel is back, she's real, and she'll stop at nothing to kill Dani.Complicating matters is Jesse, the school bad boy who's being stalked by his own invisible childhood nemesis. Dani and Jesse join forces to learn why their astral tormenters are back. Their investigation leads to a horrifying discovery—and the terrible experiment that binds them to each other."
What I liked most about this books is the craziness of it. Dani think she seeing stuff but is it real? I loved that she fought and try ti hide it for so long. The plot line of the book gave me a great pace to read at but also keep me entertain. I like the new elements were added to the story little by little.
The love interest and new characters to the story made me read it faster. I like that this new characters is not what he seems but is also alike to Dani. Once the reader is in a few chapters in, we begin to see secrets unfold, shot fired and now they are on the run. I loved that every little twist and turn gave me a happy feeling inside.
The whole conspiracy of this book had me on my toes. I love the secrets exposed at the end. I was a little shocked, but sort of expected it. Now all I want to know is what is she seeing? Is it something real or just her mind? This book definitely makes me want to read more!
Damage is a non-stop action filled book! With mind illusions, experiments, and on the run for the government, its no wonder this book made me want more!
I give it 4 BITES!
Happy Reading!
This sounds pretty freaky. Maybe too much for me. Sometimes I like when the surprise turns out as I expected it. It’s nice to guess right. But I respect an author who totally takes a book where I didn’t expect it.
Ohhh I’m really glad this is a good one! I won it from Flux this week so I’m definitely looking forward to reading it now! Fabulous review 🙂

I’ve had this book on my TBR list, so this was great to read your positive review! 🙂
Oooo I love books like this too Savy! It just adds an extra element of unease when you’re not sure if the protagonist is crazy or if things are really happening to them:)
Sounds like this would be a good read, I like things that mess with the mind! I’ll have to add it to my list
