Ethan Wright is just like any other high school kid that is one day lucky enough to meet the girl of his dreams. Throughout the course of high school the young couple learn to cope with incredibly difficult odds to discover all that matters.
I really liked this book. It is pack with an emotional rollercoaster they had me tearing up. I loved that the writing style, I can say is compared to Nicholas Sparks books.
What I liked most about this book is the struggle, the fight for love that is once there, but for some reason fades away. As the reader, we are thrown in a chaotic event, where we see Ethan doing everything he can do. I love how the reader is introduced and how the books end.
I adore the characters in this book. They were well written as well as the voices that were loud and clear. I loved them reading about the characters struggles. It gave the book a much more realistic fit to it since it is something that happens everyday.
The love interest of this book is bittersweet, but so written good! I think I struggled towards the end with hiding my tears by then. After all that they went through…It’s just a love that wasn’t given the time it needed.
Overall, this is great book about love found and loved not lost but….something to cherish. I can’t find my exact words for it, but when you read it, you will understand. If you love Nicholas Sparks books and looking for a real emotional ride, read this book.
I give it 4 BITES!
Happy Reading!
This book cover reminds me a little bit of the original cover for Class Collision in that it looks like a text book, but it clearly had a good story behind it just like CC, so I’m glad I read your review Savy!
I love stories like this that are really moving. Thanks for pointing it out to me.
hehe, YOU should have written the book blurb–your review was so much better than it. I’m still a bit on the fence on this one, as I like a strong plot to accompany those emotional roller coasters (hence the reason I’m not a Sparks fan). So I might wait a bit before checking this one out.
Thanks for the review!
Smiles!

It’s funny that you compare this to Nicholas Sparks. When I saw the cover, I assumed this was a Nicholas Sparks novel. The book sounds emotional and sweet, in a complex way. I like going on roller coasters sometimes.
Oh bittersweet and great characters? Oh this does sound like something good to read. I wouldn’t have thought YA with that cover though. Great review Savy!
Oh wow! I just found this review. Thank you so much for that Savannah! Thanks to all the commenters also. I think this is just great. I will post a link back to this review from my own blog.
