Seventeen-year-old Lauren is having visions of girls who have gone missing. And all these girls have just one thing in common—they are 17 and gone without a trace. As Lauren struggles to shake these waking nightmares, impossible questions demand urgent answers: Why are the girls speaking to Lauren? How can she help them? And… is she next? As Lauren searches for clues, everything begins to unravel, and when a brush with death lands her in the hospital, a shocking truth emerges, changing everything.
Creepy! Girls all at the age of 17 go missing. All from the same location. Now Lauren is having visions and seeing the ghosts of the girls. Can she solve the mystery of what happened to them. Are some of them still alive. All I can say is to read and find out!
At first I found myself feeling disappointed with book because it just wasn’t grabbing my attention. However getting further more into the book I started to find myself unable to stop reading. I wanted more and more. The story shows the reader what happened to everyone one of the girls that Lauren see, and we are able to see the horror of what it is like to be kidnap or realize that one day you can see someone you love and the next they can be gone.
Lauren is a really great main character, but I would have loved to know a little more background her before the visions started happening. Who was she? I do know that people started seeing her differently when she started becoming obsessed with the missing girls. She does have Jamie by her side most of the time. He starts to become concerned for her and we can see that he wants nothing but for her to be safe.
Nova Ren Suma produces a haunting story that captures the reader. With goosebumps forming on my arms, I recommend this book to all readers looking for a good haunting book.
I give it 4 bites!

Oh goosebumps are okay, as long as I don’t have to hide under the covers! 🙂 Love that it turned into a great read. Sounds good!
This actually reminds me of all those lifetime movies, like Stalked at 17. They do have a 17 and Missing movie, too. Or maybe it’s 17 and Dead…

Creepy and haunting is just how I felt too, even though nothing really happens that’s jump out of the closet scary. I’m glad you ended up liking it, Savy. 🙂
