“10 weeks, 3 counselors…summer love shouldn’t be this complicated.
Kay-Kay has known Alex since she was first a camper. He’s always been her friend, the guy who gets her more than anyone else. Now, she’s nineteen and suddenly he’s become more. But with so much of her life still ahead of her, Kay-Kay isn’t sure if risking her heart will be worth risking her future.
Jody is not the girl who goes after the hottie. She’s the girl who sits in the corner with her steady boyfriend and observes. But when her boyfriend unexpectedly dumps her, and the Irish bartender seems interested… This might have to be her summer of firsts.
Sam doesn’t do love. She’s tested those waters and has no interest in nearly drowning again. But a summer away from the perfect guy isn’t doing anything to heal her heart. Memories of Nate along with his constant texts lead Sam into a self-destructive spiral. And it’s only when he forces his way back into her life that she learns the only way to save herself is to open her heart.”
Three great stories about life, love and letting it all go! I really loved watching all three girls learn and grow. One is bold, the other scared, and the other girl just doesn’t care anymore.
There are three different stories from each girls point of view. My fave was Kay-Kay stories. The reason I love it so much because it was really outside the box. The age difference between the two is not something seen in New Adult. So reading about these two love is really something different.
Jody learns about herself and others. She finally steps out of her box, doing what she never done before and takes a leap. I love reading about Jody and her life. She put all of her security in others that she doesn’t know who she is. The new guy lets her discover who she is and what she wants 🙂
Sam is the girl that has seen it all and is done. She doesn’t care anymore. I loved that girl struggled so much. And watching her fight and win the struggle is the best. She is running away from a past, scared silly. Of course, running away from your past, it will always come back.
My only grip, there SHORT! I wish I had more insight on each of there lives. It may be short, still each story is fulfilling
If you want three great short stories about love, read this book. It has three great girls, all different, all facing unique situations. There are always there for each other and all win in the end. 10 Weeks is a sleek and sexy read that you can not miss. The brilliant collide of three different lives all turn upside down by love takes my breathe away! 10 Weeks is an welcoming romance!!
I give it 4 BITES!
Happy Reading!
