Light thinks he's put an end to his troubles with the FBI - by using the Death Note to kill off the FBI agents working the case in Japan! But one of the agents has a fiancee who used to work in the Bureau, and now she's uncovered information that could lead to Light's capture. To make matters worse, L has emerged from the shadows to work directly with the task force headed by Light's father. With people pursuing him from every direction, will Light get caught in the conflux?
So this is my second post for my reviews on the manga genre and I have to say that I am liking it. This is my first manga that I am reading and I am pretty excited of what I have been reading so far. Death Note is definitely personifying its name in the story and I am literally on my toes wanting to know what will happen next.
The story continues with Light in possession of the Death Note but now with FBI agents on the watch and L getting closer and closer, Light needs to do something that he never planned on in the first place. Kill innocent people. Tensions are rising so in accordance Light has to raise the game.
Light is by far the craziest character that I have read to date. I knew that having possession of the Death Note would take a turn for the worse but I never thought it would lead to this. Although, Light may be crazy, the story has me hooked. I am curious to see how far Light will go and if he will push himself too far.
I do have to admit though, L is pretty crazy himself. He is willing to take risks but I feel that at this time, he will do whatever he can to make sure he catches Kira. Even if it means having people die.
Overall, this manga is getting good. I am excited to see where it goes and I encourage you to follow along with me on this adventure. Hopefully together we can see how this ends.
Happy Reading!
You are making me want to give the manga cartoon another try.. 🙂
