So excited to have finally read this book. Starcrossed blew me away with love, action, and so many juicy secrets!
Dreamless picks off where it left off in the last book. Helen has been having dangerous dreams that are leaving her weaker and weaker. Helen in this book I felt became stronger but at the same time weaker. She’s strong cause now she is doing her mission all of her own. She doesn’t get any help from anyone. She is always weaker cause she is doing this on her own. Each time she descends she comes up looking ragged and plain tired. Helen faces some hard times and in the end, I have to ask myself is what she s doing even worth it?
The love interest is severely strained. UGH! My heart! Really I felt for Helen so much in this book. She is fighting for her love with the guy and well, he is not even doing anything! It’s all on her. SMH! Honestly, I hope that with everything that Helen has to give up that there love will emerge. I would dislike this series so much if she ends up with someone else! GRRRR…
The new guy. Yes a new HOT guy. Now this guy brought some balance to the book. With Helen on her own, he brings some good peace and friendship to Helen. She finally has someone that she can rely on and someone to speak to. He is also hiding some secrets that open doors to many new possibilities for the ending. At this point, Ms. Angelini has me so wound up, I’m not sure what to expect in the last book. But I can tell you that it will be explosive. That much I know.
Dreamless has a strong central conflict that the reader must keep reading till its resolved. The strained put on Helen is felt so well, I had to put down the book just to take a breath. Dreamless goes beyond the realm of the underworld and into the mind of the reader. Deeply enriched with vivid dreams and unexpected friendships, Dreamless is a success from start to finish.
I give it 5 BITES!

Great review! I can’t wait to read about this new love interest 🙂 I know exactly what you mean about the Author’s ability to make you empathize so much with the character that you feel emotionally drained at the end of the book. I, for one, love that! Makes me feel as though I have gone on the journey with Helen instead of just being an observer.
Great Review!! I get more excited afetr every review I read!!
