Right now it’s just the two. I would love to write another Clarity book and I already know the plot (fans can probably guess it), but in case I don’t get that opportunity, I worked hard to end Perception in what I hope is a satisfying way.
In YA, I read everything—contemporary, paranormal, mysteries. In adult fiction, I mostly buy thrillers but I’ll toss in something else now and then, too. I miss horror and really wish it would make a comeback. I’m currently reading Fracture by Megan Miranda and loving it.
I think my voice lends itself to YA. And I think there’s more freedom in YA. The category isn’t as constrained by genre. For instance, my 2013 standalone is a horror, ghost story, murder mystery, romance. In the adult world, they wouldn’t know where to place it. In YA, you don’t have to fit your book into a specific box.
I think The Night She Disappeared by April Henry sounds awesome. And I’m also looking forward to Stay Close by Harlan Coben.

I agree that there’s more freedom in YA. Perhaps because it’s more down to earth – in that the authors generally don’t feel the need to be too hoighty toity literary.

I agree on what makes a good story! Loved her answer to the YA thing, it’s so true that you don’t have to box in YA.
