In this sequel to the bestselling fantasy thriller, Angelfall, the survivors of the angel apocalypse begin to scrape back together what's left of the modern world.

When a group of people capture Penryn's sister Paige, thinking she's a monster, the situation ends in a massacre. Paige disappears. Humans are terrified. Mom is heartbroken.

Penryn drives through the streets of San Francisco looking for Paige. Why are the streets so empty? Where is everybody? Her search leads her into the heart of the angels' secret plans where she catches a glimpse of their motivations, and learns the horrifying extent to which the angels are willing to go.

Meanwhile, Raffe hunts for his wings. Without them, he can't rejoin the angels, can't take his rightful place as one of their leaders. When faced with recapturing his wings or helping Penryn survive, which will he choose?

I finally read this and boy was it worth it. I totally fell for every page and loved reading it.

Plot: So this book starts off where the last book left off, following the heroine Penryn. Things have gotten harder and much more violent. Penryn is by herself and searching for her sister who has been kidnapped. With all the plot turns and twists, you can no take your eyes off of the pages. Each chapter is more action, more drama and of course more Penryn.

Penryn: This character is so young yet she has grown up so fast. Things don’t get any easier for her. She has to fight, play games and struggle to learn the whereabouts of her sister. I think that this character is so superbly written and amazing! I loved watching her be so mature yet be reminded once again just how young she is. She has suffered and been thought a lot.

Ending: The ending is quite exciting and awesome! I’m happy to see that some thing have worked out for Penryn while others are just getting started. I can’t wait to read the last book.

Definitely check out this book if you love angels and a fallen world. I’m anxious to see how it will end with all the crazy new revelations that have been made. World After is an consistently amazing adventure. This story offers amazing detail in plot and characters.

Happy Reading!

AH!!!! I still need to read this Savy! I absolutely LOVED the first book but have been delaying this one because I worried it wouldn’t be quite as good. Seems like that worry might be unfounded:) So looking forward to picking this up!
