Ellie Jordan and her apprentice Stacey investigate a house in an elaborate planned community that was only half-built before it went bankrupt, leaving an instant ghost town with only a few residents. The entity haunting this house is a banshee that feeds on sadness and misery.

Unfortunately for Ellie, this is no simple haunting, but just one symptom of the cursed land on which the suburban community was built. The old railroad line running through the nearby woods might just be a conduit for lost souls, including dark spirits with ill intentions toward the living. Ellie soon finds herself facing one of the most complex and difficult hauntings she’s seen in her career.

Train stations have been the staple of the US for a long time. And when I read the title, I just knew I had to read it. Sp far this series has given me plenty of great adventure and creepiness. So its no surprise that once again, I’m blown away .

Plot: This is about Ellie going on another adventure only this time, at a train station. It revolves around a big train heist with thousands of dollars missing. The best part of the story is of course the adventure of finding the train, the treasure as well as solving the story as to what happen during that train heist. So many pieces to follow, so many twists and turns, it really felt like I was really in the story.

Relationships: Through out the story, Ellie relationship has grown with her new love interest. I was a bit anxious on how their relationship will work given that Ellie is a workaholic. She loves her job but I’m afraid that she doesn’t know how to separate work and relationships. I’m hoping that their relationship can continue to grow and not get hindered by her job.

Ending: As always, the ending is fantastic! I really love how it all came together in the end. Researching each person and the history on the train left me wanting more. I can not wait to read the next book in the series!
