"Four Teenagers.
One Destroyed City.
Thousands of
Infected Predators.
Jesse is on a UN Youth Ambassadors camp in New York when his subway carriage is rocked by an explosion. Jesse and his three friends, Dave, Mini and Anna, crawl out from the wreckage to discover a city in chaos.
Streets are deserted. Buildings are in ruins. Worse, the only other survivors seem to be infected with a virus that turns them into horrifying predators...
Outnumbered. No sign of life. Just them. And you... ALONE."

For me, this book is typical and what I thought. It was a quick and easy read.
So the plot is about these teens taking a ride on the subway and all of the sudden, BAM! Explosion! And when they wake, nothing is the same. People are acting funny, like zombies. I especially enjoyed the beginning part of the book. The descriptions of the characters along with the scene of an unexpected explosion filled with blackness, had me at the edge of my seat. This part is particularly my favorite.
There really wasn’t a love interest but just friends trying to survive. Everything is tested in trying to survive  They have to search for food, find shelter and most of all try to find people. Towards the end, the friends are closer to finding salvation.
Chasers is a good story. The main character Jesse stood out strong and came out on top. For me, this is quite predictable but something easy to pick up if you know what you want to read. If you like these types of stories, then this book is for you.
I give it 3 BITES!
Happy Reading!

I like dystopian novels, I don’t mind it much when things are predictable, I enjoy the story most of the time when it’s a great one.

This sounds good, but typical. I do enjoy books like these though, so if I was in the mood for a quick read I would probably read this. Great review.

  3. Hm… sounds like a fun short read. Might be something for me. However, they do need to move that “alone” part of the title. Looks like a diaper. LOL
