After a week locked up with no one but Ryuk for company, Light is ready to give up his Death Note and all memories of it. Freed from his past actions, Light is convinced he's innocent. But L is ready to keep Light under lock and key forever, especially since the killings stopped once Light was incarcerated. Then a new wave of Kira crimes hits Japan. Someone else has gotten their hands on a Death Note, and these new deaths aren't focused on making the world a better place, they're focused on making money. Big business can be murder, and Kira has gone corporate.

This manga is just taking it above and beyond. When I think nothing else could happen and the story might finally be coming close to an end…BAM something happens. I am officially hooked in this series and I think you should be too.

The story continue with Light in containment as he tries to get L off his trail and stop him from revealing his secret of being Kira. But when murders have stopped, things aren’t looking too good until once more killings are happening but this time to businessmen in the corporate world. Now Light and L must team up to find who Kira might be and this could become more and more interesting.

This book gave chills to me and there were constantly shooting up and down my arms. This book made me realize how evil people could…well it didn’t but it did a really good job on how seriously some people will do the craziest things to reach the top.

I find it to be really weird that both Light and Misa have to keep secrets inside of them and that is just crazy knowing what they must be feeling inside because I would go nuts just because of the repercussions. Just thinking of that makes me feel stressed out.

Overall this series has me hooked and no matter I will finish it. I recommend this series to those who might feel that want to read a book about serial killers in a teen way. Death Note will definitely make you wonder what name you would write.

Happy Reading!
