"Someone's been a very bad zombie. Kate Grable is horrified to find out that the football coach has given the team steroids. Worse yet, the steriods are having an unexpected effect, turning hot gridiron hunks into mindless flesh-eating zombies. No one is safe--not her cute crush Aaron, not her dorky brother, Jonah . . . not even Kate! She's got to find an antidote--before her entire high school ends up eating each other. So Kate, her best girlfriend, Rocky, and Aaron stage a frantic battle to save their town . . . and stay hormonally human."

I’m so glad that I finally got to read this book. Short and amazing awesome, this story blows me away!
What I enjoyed most about this story is the awesome plot line. Filled with action from start to finish, I had no problems stepping into the story and enjoying it. I really like how the plot immediately catches the reader, entrancing them to keep reading. The plot pacing of the book is evenly paced well that you don’t get confused with the story or does it fall flat. The plot keeps moving towards an awesome build up.
The characters on the book are totally amazing. The main character Kate is your typical nerd. She is invisible to everyone, always has her nose in a book and just trying to fit in. I love that Kate is smart and uses that toward her advantage. She is realistic as well as open-minded. Immediately with the first sighting of zombies, Kate is on the case like a Nancy Drew. Looking for clues, searching for answers, and not taking crap from anyone. If anyone got in her way, she found a way around it.
There is also this really cool big sister/little bro duo going on. This gave a good insight on Kate’s home life and a much more personal look at Kate. I love that the reader sees these two fighting as well as working together. Kate’s little bro looks up to her and does his best to protect her in any way possible. Best brother EVA!
The love interest is quite sweet and moved well. I liked that after all this time Kate is finally noticed by a hottie football player. GO KATE! He is all that you want in guy plus he is smart as well. He immediately takes Kate’s word and starting working with her, no questions asked. When  flirting came about, I couldn’t help but let a huge grin form in my face.
Bad Taste In Boys is an awesome book that everyone should read. Even though it is short, it certainly packs a punch. Ms. Harris presents the reader with amazing characters and a kick butt plot line. Bad Taste In Boys thrills readers with fantastic writing and world building. Bad Taste In Boys is awesome!
I give it 5 BITES!
Happy Reading!

She’s a bit of a nerd? LOVE IT! And I love that she catches the hottie football player’s eye with all her nerd glory. That did not happen to me in high school 😉 Really excited to read this one Savy!

Yay nerds! I like girls who aren’t overly popular. And anyone who evokes Nancy Drew is great. The cover is creepy though.
