"Life sucks for orphans Callum Tate and Harper Bailey.
Kicked out of their foster homes because they suffer the 'eighteen disease' with nothing but a hundred dollar check from the government and a pat on the back, they're forced to rely on a system that failed them miserably.
So they sit. They sit inside Social Services, waiting for their social workers to call their names and offer them the miracle they know will never come but they sit anyway because they have nowhere else to go, no other options on their very literal and figurative empty plates.
But as they sit, they notice the other. Although captivated, they each come to the conclusion that life is complicated enough without throwing in a boiling tension that can't ever be acted upon because they're both too busy thinking about where their next meal will come from but when their names are called and both are placed on a year long waiting list for permanent housing, suddenly relying on each other seems like a very viable plan B.
And, oh, how lovely Plan B's can be.
Well, except for the psycho from Harper's past that haunts her and, oh, yeah, there's the little issue that neither of them knows they're in love with the other.
Needless to say, Callum & Harper's life just got a bit more complicated.
“One day, you and I are gonna’ wake up and be alright. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but one day. One day. I promise you.” - Callum Tate"

This is one helluva story. This LOVE right here is what life is about. It’s about taking leap of faith and being patient. It’s about standing by one another in a loyal friendship, never letting the other fall down. And when they do, you take turns holding each other up. THAT is LOVE!
So why did Callum & Harper hooked me to the core? Because it’s REAL! Let me tell you that their life is NOT painted pretty. The struggle with what meal will they eat next? Where will they sleep? How to finish their education? Their kids for crying out load, forced to grow up in a cruel place with no example of what love or family would be like! You know what? They excelled far and beyond, creating better lives for themselves and succeeding with very little help. They learn to love despite the crappy hand the world dealt them, and became better people. That’s why I fell in love.
Not only was the plot rocking, but their LOVE conquered all things. They faced things TOGETHER!
 Say it with me…T-O-G-E-T-H-E-R.
Cause that’s how couples worked. Together the worked, encouraged, and love each other deeply. And when one backed down cause of fear, the other didn’t push. But instead, both of them took a step back, loving each other from afar, giving the space they wanted. Their love is romantic, patient, kind, not boastful, not jealous. They did no wrong to each other and went beyond friendship. I can’t express how much I LOVED this book.
Callum & Harper is TRUE love story. Significant in details with great world building, Callum & Harper defy all laws that goes against them. A well balanced, riveting story that has a harsh reality and a sublime ending, this is what we live for. A love worth waiting for!
I  give it 5 BITES!
Happy Reading!

Wow, this sounds like such a stunning relationship. I love that they face everything that comes at them together – no game playing, no petty jealousies, just facing their challenged head on with the knowledge they have someone at their back. Awesome. Thanks for the review Savy!
