"Dylan doesn’t do relationships. He and his older brother watched their dad go through hell and back, so they made a pact years ago—no girl would come between the Gibson boys. But his brother sells out. He's getting married anyway. To the sister of a chick Dylan met at a party, who's probably the angriest girl he's ever met. Unfortunately, she happens to be hot, too.
Ziah’s life is upside down—her safe boyfriend turns out to be not-so-safe, and now her sister is getting married before college is over to the older brother of a spoiled, party boy who drives her crazy. And also makes her heart beat too fast.
There’s no denying the attraction, but there's also no denying how much they irritate each other. When they’re thrown together as forced wedding planners, they find an ally in each other--neither wants this wedding to happen.
But instead of putting a stop to the crazy nuptials they find themselves at fittings and cake testing. And maybe even…a few dates?
Dizzy is a novel about what happens when two people who are determined not to fall in love, maybe do anyway. Maybe."

Combining my fave authors is never a bad thing. I love reading the swooning romance as well as the obstacle of learning to love and let go.
The plot of this book is emotional and very close to me. At a young age, my father walked out on my mom and my brothers. For a long time, I too did’t trust guy. Not even my husband. I put him through hell our first years of marriage cause I was deathly afraid he would do exactly what my father did. Needless to say, I learned the hard way. Dylan, the main character is doing the same thing I did. Spurned by a mother who walked out on him, Dylan has vowed never to marry. Until, his brother does. I like that Dylan is very blunt with his emotions. He doesn’t beat around the bush but says things exactly the way they are. He is so angry that he doesn’t see the whole picture. It takes a while before Dylan is able to see what has been blocking his sight the entire time.
The love interest is definitely cute and enduring. Both characters thrown together with something they did not want to do, only brings me more joy in watching these two fight it out. Or should I say flirt it out? They bicker at each other, but you just know that there is something happening between the two. Little by the little, the fighting stops and friendships begins. They talk, share secrets and emotions that they never told anyone else. And of course, they fall in love slowly, letting the reader enjoy every moment of it.
Dizzy is a fantastic book that catches deep emotions. Filling and reliable, Dizzy is a nice romance that is easy to fall into.

 I give it 4 BITES!

Happy Reading!

I haven’t read anything by either of these two. I fail at life. I’ve heard such great things about both of their books, and I love when authors team up and write together! I will definitely be giving this one a try:)

  2. It really puts an emotional spin when it hits close to home. Also sounds like a great romance brewing. Oh, I’m curious. I must put this one on the ol’ wishlist. Darn that wishlist is going to kill me. LOL

These two ladies have been writing books like crazy! I just see them everywhere! I hadn’t heard of this one yet though and it sounds pretty amazing. It’s always even better when you can personally connect with something in the story too.
