“Weird as it is working for the International Paranormal Containment Agency, Evie’s always thought of herself as normal. Sure, her best friend is a mermaid, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she’s falling for a shape-shifter, and she’s the only person who can see through paranormals’ glamours, but still. Normal.

Only now paranormals are dying, and Evie’s dreams are filled with haunting voices and mysterious prophecies. She soon realizes that there may be a link between her abilities and the sudden rash of deaths. Not only that, but she may very well be at the center of a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures.”
What I really enjoyed about this book was how different it was. It was a great paranormal refreshing debut. I loved how it stood out above others and how well written it was. From the very first page, I was hooked. I would not stop reading until the very end. And even then, I did not have enough.

Evie was a great unique character. Everything about her was written beautiful and just her alone is someone I love to be best friends with. Even though secrets were kept from her, she was able to surpass all of the hurt and anger and be someone better. For that, it made me admire her more.

The love interest in this story was hit right on. All the elements in it were perfect. The guy was just gorgeous, sweet and felt very real. The love between is one I had not read about in a long time and that is an innocence love. Even though it did not get said, they love each deeply just by the actions alone. Everything they did, they did for each other, protecting each other, fight for each other. I also like how everything for them was a first. It makes it even sweeter.

This book was one bleep of an adventure and one that I would most bleeping definitely take again. Should you read this. You bleeping should!

I give it 5 BITES!

Happy  Reading!

P.S. If you want to get the “bleeping” you must read to understand. I will not share bleeping spoilers!

So glad you enjoyed this one too, I devoured it one sitting. I agree with you on Lend, he felt very real and not at all the stereotypical YA bad boy (though I love them as well, he was just a refreshing detour from them).
