“Hunter Wild is the youngest in a long line of elite vampire hunters, a legacy that is both a blessing and a curse at the secret Helios-Ra Academy, where she excels at just about everything. Thanks to her friendship with Kieran Black, Hunter receives a special invitation to attend the coronation of Helena Drake, and for the first time, she sees the difference between vampires that must be hunted and vampires that can become friends—or even more. When students at the academy fall victim to a mysterious illness, Hunter suspects they are under attack from within. She will need someone she can trust to help her save the future of Helios-Ra . . . help that shockingly comes in the form of Quinn Drake, a drop-dead gorgeous vampire. Who said senior year would be easy?
I just love the Drake brothers. They have never failed me in their never-ending adventures and their search for their beloved ones. This book totally rock my socks off!!

Hunter Wild is a kick-butt girl. She is the best of the best. And now she is falling for Quinn Drake, a hot know it all when it comes to girls. She goes against her instincts and fights herself every step of the way, refusing to fall for him. But no girl could resist Quinn’s charms. All the while hunters are changing. Emotions bursting and getting sick something strange is happening at the academy.

I loved Hunter. She is so strong and fierce. She is always prepared for a fight and knows how to control situations. I loved how hard she worked her butt off to get where she needed to be. I also admired her willingness to stand up to others. When her grandpa wanted her to do something, she said no, standing her ground, not giving up. I loved that! You go girl!!!

There were some awesome fights scene in which showcased Hunter’s bad fighting style. She definitely knew how to kick some butt. She even took some hard hits, which Quinn didn’t like. I like his over protectiveness of her. It showed how much he cared. Hunter did deal with a lot of emotions over her relationship with Quinn. She knew what it would cost her and how it would look. I was happy in the end she made the right choice.

Now the love between Quinn and Hunter was awesome! Why? Because the love between the was forbidden. A hunter and a vampire? Not likely, but even though they fought each other, they could not resist each other. His willingness to set everything side, help her, and be there just stole my heart! The kisses were sweet and just perfect. Love it!!

I give it 5 BITES!

Happy Reading!
