"My life had always been blissfully, wonderfully normal. But it only took one moment to change everything.
Suddenly, my sister, Georgia, and I were orphans. We put our lives into storage and moved to Paris to live with my grandparents. And I knew my shattered heart, my shattered life, would never feel normal again. Then I met Vincent.
Mysterious, sexy, and unnervingly charming, Vincent Delacroix appeared out of nowhere and swept me off my feet. Just like that, I was in danger of losing my heart all over again. But I was ready to let it happen.
Of course, nothing is ever that easy. Because Vincent is no normal human. He has a terrifying destiny, one that puts his life at risk every day. He also has enemies . . . immortal, murderous enemies who are determined to destroy him and all of his kind.
While I'm fighting to piece together the remnants of my life, can I risk putting my heart—as well as my life and my family's—in jeopardy for a chance at love?"

If anything I enjoy about love, it is the love that is a sacrifice. This book not only capture me by the heart but had me swooning the whole way through the book. As a reader, I also enjoy a dark, brooding man who’s only thing in life is to find some sort of happiness.
First off, the love in this book is great. Beyond great! I love reading about Vincent’s past and how he became who he is today. Everything he has done is for everyone else, so why can’t he do something for himself? As a reader, I enjoy new plots lines but mostly new unique story ideas. I love the idea of a revenant. It is like the new vampire! I really enjoyed learning about them and they things that they do.
The storyline had me at the edge of my seat. I love the plot twists and turns in the book. I also like how the love between Vincent and Katie is unbreakable! I loved see them together and the way that they acted with each other. They had such a nice ease in each other. I just can’t say this enough but when characters can have a love that feels real, you know that the writer has done a great job writing this book. Ms. Plum definitely brought her characters life right from the very first page.
Die for Me is a great debut! It had love, action, and enough of self sacrifice to make you cry. Ms. Plum wrote a beautiful story that I could not get enough of. I can’t wait to read the next book!
 I give it 5 BITES!
Happy Reading!

This book is on my wishlist and I am cash-poor lately since I’m pregnant, I’ve been buying all baby stuff with my extra money each month. I did buy a few paper books through B&N’s Spring Clearance Sale, but they were all $1.99, so it wasn’t too much spent. Maybe next month when I have some extra money again I’ll buy this one. 🙂 Thanks for the great review.

I loved this book – absolutely adored it. I think it may be my fav paranormal since Twilight. I agree that the romance is great. In some ways, it doesn’t break the mold for paranormal romances, but I like that the plot gives the characters time to get to know each other as well as being “in love.” I love the idea of revenants. Most of all, I love the family dynamics of all the revenant characters. Especially Charlotte.
