With the Brotherhood persecuting witches like never before, a divided Sisterhood desperately needs Cate to come into her Prophesied powers. And after Cate's friend Sachi is arrested for using magic, a war-thirsty Sister offers to help her find answers—if Cate is willing to endanger everyone she loves.

Cate doesn't want to be a weapon, and she doesn't want to involve her friends and Finn in the Sisterhood's schemes. But when Maura and Tess join the Sisterhood, Maura makes it clear that she'll do whatever it takes to lead the witches to victory. Even if it means sacrifices. Even if it means overthrowing Cate. Even if it means all-out war.

In the highly anticipated sequel to Born Wicked, the Cahill Witch Chronicles continue Cate, Maura and Tess's quest to find love, protect family, and explore their magic against all odds in an alternate history of New England.

Diving into the second book, I can’t express how much I adored it. Not only was it satisfying, but I’m itching to get my hands on the next book!

Plot: The plot dive in where the last book left off and the Brotherhood is on a rampage. They are slowly gathering more sources and of course making people scared and angry. I really enjoyed the build  up to the Brotherhood and their actions. As their actions become more thoughtless and ruthless, its up to the  Sisterhood to help. But even they have problems of themselves that are slowly arising as well. The plot is well written with plenty of twist to keep the reader on the edge of their seat.

Love: I think this love is done wonderfully. Of course both of them are fighting for a future that they might not get to see and that’s what makes every moment that they steal precious. I’m hoping that they do their happy every after. They do have a lot going against them. At least, they are strong in what they have. I have no doubt that they can make. I’m hoping that the author will not write anything to tear them apart.

Sisters:  One thing that really gets moving in the story is the sister drama. There is resentment, anger and secrets among these girls who should be counting on each other not turning on each other. I really felt how each sister re-acted. The emotions flowed wonderfully to the reader giving them a front row seat to some major spats. Ladies and Gentlemen, take out your popcorn and hold on to your seats!

Star Cursed is an excellent sequel that sweeps you off your feet. Long after reading it, Star Cursed will haunt your mind. A worthy addition Star Cursed is amazing!

I give it 5 BITES!
