"Ava’s life went from bad to worse the night Chance became a vampire.

He won’t have anything to do with her. Ava understands why—because he blames her—but it doesn’t mean she likes it.

And it doesn’t help that she’s starting to feel something for Erik, the boy who once wanted her dead. Especially when Chance decides that he does still love her, and wants her to be with him for eternity.

Now she has a choice: Humanity…or forever as a vampire with Chance.

But Ava wants nothing more than to be human again. At least, she thought that was all she wanted.

Thankfully her best friend Kayla has a plan to distract Ava from her boy troubles, and they go in search of Kayla’s missing dad. A great idea, but one that brings Sebastian back into Ava’s life. Along with another, more sinister former member of his coven.

Sebastian and Zyris face off against Ava and her friends, resulting in Ava making yet another choice that changes the course of everyone’s lives, and leaves her wondering if being human again is really worth losing everything."

After the ending of the first book, I need this book ASAP!

The plot of the book is good. It moved quickly, flowing into lots of emotions and secrets. I like that with every chapter, the reader gets a clearer view of Ava and her life. Lots is going on in it, with loss of friends and gaining new ones, nothing in Ava’s life is boring. I like towards the end of the book, Ava is beginning to piece together her past life!

The love interest disappointed me for a bit. I didn’t want it to end up this way. Their at an impasse and of course a new guy is added to the mix.  The emotions run from hurt to hate to love then lost. Still, the love triangle doesn’t really over shadow the rest of the book. Instead it gives it a push the book need in the right direction. In the end, I think it’s pretty clear where her feelings lie.

I think the build up to the end is the best part. It got my heart racing and totally wanting more. It’s so exciting to be in Ava’s shoes learning what her true destiny is!!!

Blood Awakening is a great story. Filled with a plot that is unrelenting, Blood Awakening turns out to be an great addition. Never missing a beat, Blood Awakening is awesome!

Bummer on the romance in this one Savy! It’s always frustrating when a new romantic player enters the mix and then games ensue and everyone ends up hurt. Grrr. Still, with a rating of 4, this is still obviously a solid read despite the love triangle:)

Ugh!! Love triangle!! It sounds like it’s still good though. I have been wanting to read the first book. I’m glad that the series is still continuing on a good note!

Oh boo to the love triangle! I would probably hate this book just for that haha. Sounds like a cool premise though!
