“Lora wants nothing more than to be the wind behind sexy windsurfer Chance’s sails. But fulfilling that wish just became…complicated. After seventeen years of normal life, someone wants Lora and her family dead. And the attempted massacre isn’t nearly as strange as the reason behind it.”

I really wanted to love this book but I could not get into it. While the characters were great, the plot I could not, for some reason not follow.

What I liked most about this book are the characters. They are well written and well developed. I like reading about the past coming out and reveal secrets. I loved watching things comes to past. The story kept up in the pace making me want to read the story more. Still the plot and the characters go back  and forth in what draws you in to the story.

Over all, this is a good story that kept me reading. Some parts of the story are really explicit and well for me couldn’t get into it. As much as I enjoyed Dream Smashers from Ms. Carlie, I could not get into this book. I hope that other readers will still take a chance in it. You never know, you might like better than I.

I give it 3 BITES!

Happy Reading!

  1. Aw… sorry you couldn’t get into it. At least there were good characters. That is at least half the battle! I don’t think I’d get into it if you are talking about gross. I see animals, and gross… I don’t want to know I’m afraid.

  2. When things are too graphic, I tend to shy away from them. Great honesty, Savy 🙂
