Release Date: December 1, 2013 by Sourcebooks Fire

“Author of CATCHING JORDAN, Miranda Kenneally’s RACING SAVANNAH, about an underprivileged girl training to be a jockey while working in the barn at a high-stakes horse farm whose on-again, off-again relationship with the owner’s son has an upstairs/downstairs effect on race day, pitched as Downton Abbey in the South, to Leah Hultenschmidt at Sourcebooks Fire, in a good deal, in a three-book deal, for publication in 2013, by Sara Megibow at Nelson Literary Agency (world).”

I hope that it is obvious as to why I want this book. Can anyone figure it out???
DUH! Miranda Kenneally is not only a superb author but HELLO! The title has my name in it! LOL! I’m dying to read this book! Through out my reading lifetime, I have read books where the characters name is Savannah is always some stuck up southern chick. UGH! I don’t want that. I want a character named Savannah that is strong and confident. Who can do my name justice! Ms. Kenneally, I believe you do have your work cut out for you! I’m so excited to see what this Savannah brings to the table!

Happy Reading!

I have yet to read any of Miranda’s novels but I’m hoping that will change this year! I’ve heard great things about her books. Plus, I love the girl’s yellow rain boots!
