Ghost removal specialist Ellie Jordan must face a dangerous, shape-shifting entity that she and Calvin have encountered once before, with tragic results. The spirit has the power to reach into the minds of living and feed on their fears, taking the shape of their worst nightmares, and it has awoken in search of new victims.

Now Ellie must try to succeed where she and her mentor failed before, and try to defeat the twisted and powerful old ghost before it can claim another soul for its collection.

Just because I was a big chicken in the second book did’t mean I wasn’t going to pick up this one. The last book gave me huge adrenaline rush. So the following morning with a giant cup of coffee, I read this book in one seating as well. It did not disappoint me.

Plot: Okay, in all seriousness this series is just awesome. I once again loved the plot, the adventure, the research of finding ghost only this time, the past comes back to haunt her. This time, it involves her boss who faced the same ghost that ended up hurting him. This story takes on so much of an emotional aspect being that it hits home for Ellie. She wants to put this behind her just like he does and she will do anything to get that. The plot is driven so the reader will have an amazing time reading the history of this ghost.

Love interest: There is a new love interest for both girls (Ellie/Stacey) and I’m super excited to see if develop. I honestly hope that Ellie can find someone who will love her and help her in her career. I think as much as Ellie has gone through, she deserves some peace in some part of her life.

Ending: The ending is awesome. It ended with differently than the other stories but the it is still super cool to read. It also leaves the door open for more ghost adventures!! I can’t wait to read more.

On another note, I read this book in the morning and I was able to sleep better that night. But I don’t recommend reading this at night unless you plan on staying up or watching a disney movie afterward.

This is series is awesome! I would recommend it to anyone who loves ghost stories/adventures. Seriously, read it.

  1. I’m so glad you enjoyed it still even though it wasn’t in your genre. I do think I need to pick up the first book!
