So…you’d think after banishing an immortal being and a fallen High Priestess, saving Stark’s life, biting Heath, getting a headache from Erik, and almost dying, Zoey Redbird would catch a break.  Sadly, a break is not in the House of Night school forecast for the High Priestess in training and her gang.  Juggling three guys is anything but a stress reliever, especially when one of them is a sexy Warrior who is so into protecting Zoey that he can sense her emotions.  Speaking of stress, the dark force lurking in the tunnels under the Tulsa Depot is spreading, and Zoey is beginning to believe Stevie Rae could be responsible for a lot more than a group of misfit red fledglings.  Aphrodite’s visions warn Zoey to stay away from Kalona and his dark allure, but they also show that it is Zoey who has the power to stop the evil immortal.  Soon it becomes obvious that Zoey has no choice: if she doesn’t go to Kalona he will exact a fiery vengeance on those closest to her.  Will Zoey have the courage to chance losing her life, her heart, and her soul?  Find out in the next spectacular installment in the House of Night Series, Tempted

Alright Zoey, I feel like you are not listening here. In the next installment, Zoey is simply frustrated. This books revolves around all the problems between all the guys she has messed with. Seriously Zoey, you wouldn’t have these problem if you would have just chosen one guy and stuck with it. But alas no, Zoey once again is caught up in a triangle that causes someone’s death. I was so sad about this. I really like his character. He loved Zoey no matter what she did and stood by her always. He was one I was truly hoping would get a happy ending. But nooooo, he died. He put his life on the line for Zoey and she better appreciate it!

I know I made my dislike for Zoe clearly, so why do I continue to read this series? It is like a trashy novella you can’t seem to get enough. Even though I hate the writing and the characters are crap, I do enjoy the plot twist that come my way. I want to know what mess Zoey gets into now. I want to see if her friends will finally see who she truly is and leave her in the gutter! Like I said, a novella I can’t seem to get enough.

I do not recommend for teenagers. This book still contains everything bad. Sex, drugs, gays, etc. I think it should be pulled off the YA shelf and put in the adult section.

 Happy Reading!
