Dragged on a family trip to Europe’s ancient cities, Becca wants nothing more than to go home. Trapped with her emotionally distant father, over-eager stepmother, and a brother who only wants to hook up with European hotties, Becca is miserable. That is until she meets Nikolai, a guy as mysterious as he is handsome. And she unknowingly finds herself with a runaway prince.

Nikolai has everything a guy could ask for-he's crown prince, heir to the throne, and girls adore him. But the one thing he doesn't have...is freedom. Staging a coup, he flees his kingdom and goes undercover on his own European tour.

When Nikolai and Becca meet, it’s their differences that draw them together. Sparks fly as they share a whirlwind of adventures, all the while dodging his royal guard. But Becca's family vacation ends in a matter of days. Will Nikolai and Becca be forced to say goodbye forever, will his destiny catch up to him, or will they change history forever?

If you love travel stories mixed in with a bit of romance, then you should definitely read this book. It complies a great plot that one can enjoy on a beautiful summer day.

Plot: This is about a girl who goes on a European vacation and ends up meeting a prince, who is under disguise and running away. I like the idea of this plot because this girl who thought that nothing ever good happens to her happens to her right underneath her nose. It’s cute and super fun to read.

Love/Friendship: This is the only area that sort of bugged me cause I felt like the romance is a bit rushed. Then again, they are on limited time due to vacation and run away prince, so I can see how these two just wanted to get away from everything and have fun. Still, I wished they had time to slow down their romance instead of rushing into things. The prince’s story is quite amusing itself. I’m no royalty but I can only imagine the amount of pressure/stress they go through. They have a duty and a repetition to protect. I can totally relate to him running away just for some time.

Ending: It ended as expected. Cute and very,”awwww.” I love it. The story overall builds to this story that the reader can get lost in. The travel sights in Europe, even though I never been, almost seem real in my head.

Royally Lost is a super cute read that will you adore. It has everything you want in a teen read. Adventure, drama and most of all Love.

I give it 4 BITES!

I unfortunately did not like this one, but I’m totally glad you did.

  2. I love endings that make you go awww! 🙂 This sounds like my kind of book and I don’t often go toward books with royalty unless historical. 🙂
