“Deuce’s whole world has changed. Down below, she was considered an adult. Now, topside in a town called Salvation, she’s a brat in need of training in the eyes of the townsfolk. She doesn’t fit in with the other girls: Deuce only knows how to fight.
To make matters worse, her Hunter partner, Fade, keeps Deuce at a distance. Her feelings for Fade haven’t changed, but he seems not to want her around anymore. Confused and lonely, she starts looking for a way out.
Deuce signs up to serve in the summer patrols—those who make sure the planters can work the fields without danger. It should be routine, but things have been changing on the surface, just as they did below ground. The Freaks have grown smarter. They’re watching. Waiting. Planning. The monsters don’t intend to let Salvation survive, and it may take a girl like Deuce to turn back the tide.”

I couldn’t wait to read this story! Excited from the first book Enclave, I knew at once, when I’m back in the shoes of Deuce, that I was in for a adventure. And boy, was I right!
The story has so much more emotions. Now that Deuce and Fade, finally made it somewhere safe, it’s time to decide what to do next. Instead, Deuce and Fade face many trials with the new colony and many emotions. Relief, anxiety, fear, and yes love. I like that the characters grew but they also went backward. (Don’t even get me started on that!)  I get that after leaving the enclave, trying to survive but really I wanted to slap some people!
The plot of the book has some heart-breaking moments as well as some HECK YEAH moments. Their is some peaceful moments but those didn’t last long. Either their is someone creating trouble or Deuce and Fade having a lovers spat, Outpost never fails to entertain the reader.
The love interest! WHAT THE HECK HAPPEN HERE! Those who read the first book you are in for a doozy with this one. I didn’t see it coming nor did I think it EVER end it like that. Seriously, I’m still in SHOCK! SHOCKKKKKKK!  Brace yourself is all I have to say.
Outpost is a spectacular story that sweeps the reader off their feet. Better than the first book, Outpost is energetic and fierce.  The action get packed on top of once another leaving the reader to an unexpected explosive ending. Outpost leaves you speechless!
I give it 5 BITES!
Happy Reading!

YEAH!!! I just finished this one and LOVED it Savy! I did not see certain things happening with Fade, and I loved that I was caught off guard. I’m now of course dying for the next book since she has a tendency to leave us hanging in the middle of a tense moment, but I just adored this book overall:)

  2. Better than the first?! I liked the first a lot, but didn’t love it as much as everyone else. I’m so glad this one is better. I needs it now!!
