“Teenager Shanna Hunt has been hunting demons since her parents were murdered by them. She’s used to doing things alone, her own way, but one fateful night throws her into the company of a team of hunters, each specializing in a particular kind of monster: vampires, werewolves, witches, shape-shifters… This newly-formed team should be an unstoppable force for whatever is out there picking off individual hunters across the globe, but their first battle together against the monsters of the night could be their last.”

One thing I loved about this book is the great jam packed action in it. So much fighting and so much drama leaves the reader hooked and unable to put down the book. The plot line of the book moves at a good pace never leaving behind the reader but enticing them to follow.

The main character of this book is really my kind of gal. She doesn’t put up with anything and fights so awesome! She is fresh and strong, really knows what she wants and goes for it!! The other minor characters in the book played bigger parts than what I thought. That was a nice touch.
My only gripe about this book is the constant point of view switching. While I enjoyed  seeing things from different characters point of view, I wish the transition has been smoother. Overall this is a great enjoyable reader that all readers can enjoy! Strong characters and great writing, Her Dark Destiny is a good book!

I give it 3 BITES!
Happy Reading!

  1. Oh even if the POV wasn’t smooth (it’s good to know that a head of time), it still sounds like a good book. As long as the female lead is strong that is great.

  2. POV switching can be annoying if it hasn’t been done right. Enjoyed your review.

  3. I love all of that action in a book! I will admit POV switching can drive me crazy…thanks for the great review!
