Now that Nikki has rescued Jack, all she wants is to be with him and graduate high school. But Cole tricked Nikki into feeding off him, and she’s begun the process of turning into an Everliving herself... which means she must feed on a Forfeit soon — or die.

Terrified for her survival, Nikki and Jack begin a desperate attempt to reverse the process using any means possible. Even Cole, who they expected to fight them at every turn, has become an unlikely ally — but how long can it last? Nikki needs to feed on Cole to survive, Cole needs Nikki to gain the throne in the Everneath, Jack needs Nikki because she is everything to him — and together, they must travel back to the Underworld to undo Nikki’s fate and make her mortal once more. But Cole isn’t the only one with plans for Nikki: the Queen has not forgotten Nikki’s treachery, and she wants her destroyed for good. Will Nikki be forced to spend eternity in the Underworld, or does she have what it takes to bring down the Everneath once and for all?

I feel very sad when a series or trilogy that you come to love ends. I remember the first book like it was yesterday but it was years ago and now when I have the last book in my hands, I am scared to pick it up and see how it ends.

Nikki, Jack, and Cole are some of the best characters I have come to know and fall in love with. Nikki has really grown from the first novel into a young beautiful woman. Jack, I feel has grown so overprotective of Nikki and we saw this a lot in the novel but he soon realizes that she can do what she has to  do, even though it is not exactly what he wants. And then we have Cole. Even though Cole was a jerk sometimes, he was by far my favorite character. I wonder if Brodi Ashton felt the same way I am feeling about Cole after the end of the book or was she content. I know I needed a box of tissues. There is so much more about Cole that I want to write and I could probably write a whole review on Cole but you all need to read the book to see what I mean.

The romance in here is sometimes too much for me. I love how Jack loves Nikki and he is not afraid of showing it. However, secretly I wish she would get with Cole. I do not know why I feel the bad boys are always the best ones because deep down there is something that I feel he can be the man of every girl’s dreams.

I finished this book within hours and I had wished it was longer. The book is fast paced and full of action, adventure, and love. The book is a master piece waiting to hit shelves. Brodi Ashton is an amazing author that has created a magical world that will truly be and be forevermore Ever Yours!

I give it 5 bites!

Wow, I can’t believe the third book is coming out already! I didn’t love the first one but I do have the 2nd so I’ve considered continuing the series. Your 5 star review has me thinking I definitely should give it another try!
