Ivy should be ecstatic that her formerly-dead boyfriend Tristan is back on earth with her, but the life of a fallen angel is never easy. Tristan has been cast down in the body of a murderer, and the police are after him. Now, there's only one way that he and Ivy can be together: they must clear him of the murder.

But when it becomes clear that there are darker forces at work, and Tristan and Ivy are still paying the price for Ivy's miraculous survival of the car crash, these starcrossed lovers have more at stake than ever before. And one of them may not be alive much longer....

Being in love with this series, I knew had to read the book. For me, I was expecting more in this book. I have seen these characters grow and learn through out the series. So when I started reading the book I just felt like something was missing.
I really enjoyed the characters. The characters have changed so much through out the series its good to see them all working together instead of fighting. They learned to trust each other and to help each other out. The way that they worked together to help find answers is neat! I enjoyed going on their wild chases to find out who was the murder.
Now the plot line I didn’t really enjoy. For me, it felt like the plot repeated. There was still tension between Ivy and Will, still jealousy amongst the circle of friends. While they grew, they are still doing the same thing they have done in the book before. You understand what I am saying? I felt like the plot didn’t really move so that’s my only gripe about the book.
The love interest is still enduring as ever and I could never get enough of Ivy and Tristan. They are a couple who’s love is rare to find but so peaceful to read!
Everlasting is an great book! As a fan of this series, it’s like stepping into the world I never left. The fight between good and evil is brewing and about to blow. With an heart-stopping ending, Everlasting will leave you smiling!
I give it 4 BITES!
Happy Reading!

Isn’t it funny how you can dislike a plot but if the characters are good, it can make up for the lack. I find that true much more often than the opposite. But generally I prefer to have both good plot and characters.

Awww boo for the plot being almost the same, or repeating history should I say. Tristian…ah Tristian <3 so sweet. Can't believe it's been so long since I've read the others. I can't wait to finish this series!

I must take a look at this series, I’ve never heard of it before. Thanks for the review. It sounds like this will be one of those books where the plot or characters frustrates me to no end!

  5. This is the one I read the middle books of and was a bit lost. I think I need to get them all and start at the beginning. I am sad about the plot in this one, but still curious about the series. Hm…
