Fate isn’t something to mess with… and now, neither is Alex.

Alex has always feared two things: losing herself in the Awakening and being placed on the Elixir. But love has always been stronger than Fate, and Aiden St. Delphi is willing to make war on the gods—and Alex herself—to bring her back.

The gods have killed thousands and could destroy entire cities in their quest to stop Seth from taking Alex’s power and becoming the all-powerful God Killer. But breaking Alex’s connection to Seth isn’t the only problem. There are a few pesky little loopholes in the whole “an Apollyon can’t be killed” theory, and the only person who might know how to stop the destruction has been dead for centuries.

Finding their way past the barriers that guard the Underworld, searching for one soul among countless millions, and then somehow returning will be hard enough. Alex might be able to keep Seth from becoming the God Killer… or she might become the God Killer herself.

I don’t even know where to begin after finishing this book. All I can think is,” Next book please?! “

Where can I begin to tell you how much this book rocks? O r rather how good this series is? The plot is full of action with lots of twist and turns. It keeps you on our feet and stuck in the story. While I was reading this story, the hubby happen to interrupt me twice which only fueled me to snap at him. I did apologize later, but I did stress the importance of not pulling me out of the book unless it is a life or death situation.  Needless to say, Ms. Armentrout writing is phenomenal and breathing-taking. Even with the few interruptions, I had no problem stepping back into the story as if I never left.

The love interest. All I can is,” FINALLY!” It hots, awesome and so freaking sizzling that it even send tingles in my tummy. I love that that these love birds love each other fiercely. After everything that has happen to them, they are finally stepping out. Thought, I am a bit miffed that it had to happen under dire situations. I mean, why couldn’t they love each other like this in the beginning.

Still, after all is said and done, I’m ecstatic. I really, really, really LOVED this book. An experience that you will never forget, you must read this book. Apollyon is outrageously entertaining, standing out above the rest. With both light and dark moments that can satisfy any reader, Apollyon is awesome!

I give it 5 BITES!

I have only read the first book and I liked it pretty well. I think maybe I’ll wait to continue the series when all the books are out though. It seems like everyone has been saying that ending was killer!
