So after reading The One by Kiera Cass I thought I was done with the triology, I had to say goodbye to America, and goodbye to the selection but no sooner did I finish did I hear another book was coming out. I knew I needed the book, and I needed to see what author Kiera Cass would do to rekindle this series. I was a little doubtful but after reading The Heir, she got me wanting nothing but more. In the next installment, we are 20 years into the future after America has won the selection and has had four beautiful children. The next in line for the throne is a not a son but her only daughter, Eadlyn. Her being strong willed and very independent she feels that she is ready to rule the throne by herself. But when matters turn for the worse the one thing her parents...

I remember calling up Savannah and asking her about The Selection and her telling me that she was not sure if I would like it or not. To me it felt like it was going to be sort of like the television show “The Bachelor.” I was hoping it wasn’t because I didn’t like that show and after reading the book, it still had some aspects but it was way better. There are four girls left and even though I have a pretty good guess at who will be selected, Kiera Cass has sure threw in some side balls to...

This book was one that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on and once I popped it open and dived in the girl drama started again but with a little more drama that only made me desire more. Now that there are only 6 girls left, the competition is dwindling and proving tougher. America is still being herself but she still hasn’t fully decided who she wants to present her heart to. However, above all the drama there is still friendships but sooner or later the friendships start to end when girls want to know what they see in the ever dreaming Maxon. I had a little pet peeve throughout this book and that was how one moment America could not stop thinking about Maxon but as soon as he did something he didn’t like she was back to being all over Aspen and...
