I love, love, love this author! I think she did a fantastic job in bringing a whole new twist to a classic tale. Plot: This is about a girl who is cursed to sleep when a spell goes horribly wrong. Briar must fight this spell not only on her body but in her mind. I think that the way this story moved from the vagueness to knowing what is happening really help me enjoy the story more. The story is introduced with not much to go on but it leads a trail of crumbs to follow and you can’t help but eat every single one. Friendship/Love: Because of this curse it has cause a feud between two families. In turn, both kids are suffering at the hands of the parents. I felt like this part of the story really gives the reader that rush. Two kids who grew up so closely to...

I have been waiting for this book for a long time. I’m happy to report that I am VERY happy with the way it ended. Plot: This certain plot has been a long way coming. From the first book till now, it has slowly build up to an epic battle of love and sacrifice. I really enjoyed watching Riley grow up from a scared girl to a fierce woman who can kick anyone butts who stands in her way. Each chapter lead up to some intense scenes and some great (finally) romance. In much of this, this is Becks story as well. We, the reader, finally see his past and where he came from. He has guarded it for so long that having it exposed helps the reader understand him more. Love: Can I get a hell yeah!! It’s about time that these two stop beating around the bush and face...

Today we have a very special guest. Her name is Jana Oliver and she is the author of The Demon Trapper’s Daughter. Welcome Ms. Oliver and thank you for answering my interview questions. 1. When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer? I’d written stories off and on since I was a child, but the “I *have* to write” switch got permanently flipped to “On” in 1998. I woke up one morning and started on a story. And kept going from there. Why it happened I have no clue, but it doesn’t seem to be abating so I might as well keep creating those stories. 2. How long does it take you to write a book? It used to be over a year, then I trimmed it to nine months. Now I’m running on about a seven month turnaround which is as fast as I can do them. When I start a...
