There were two things that captured my attention when reading this book and the first being the cover. I was enthralled by the cover and the sketch work, color, and overall simplicity to capture my attention. The second thing that captured my attention was the synopsis. It reminded me of another book I read at the start of the year and so I was interested to see how it might be both similar and different. This is the first Amy Reed book I have read and it left me wanting more. The book is spilt into two part: Then and Now. And we see the same character in both parts but both with different personalities. It was interesting to see what went on through the hospital phase and story flowed smoothly through each chapter.
